Two Ways to Collect Qatar Police Clearance Certificate

Here we have two methods to collect the Qatar Police Clearance Certificate.

Method 1: Check Your Email

After submitting your Qatar police clearance certificate request through the Metrash app, you may receive the certificate directly via email. If you’re lucky, an email notification will include a downloadable PDF of the PCC. However, if it doesn’t arrive, the next option is to use the QDI app.

Method 2: Download the PCC Using QDI App

If you don’t receive your PCC via email, follow these steps:

Download the QDI App
Go to the App Store or Google Play, search for “QDI Qatar,” and download this official government app.
Register and Log In
Create an account using your QID, mobile number, and email. You’ll get an OTP for verification. After registering, log in to see your information displayed correctly.
Access the PCC
Next to the bell icon, find the “folder” icon. Click on it to locate your PCC under the section for your PCC purpose (e.g., “Outside Qatar”). The PCC will be stored here permanently.
Downloading for Dependents
If the PCC is for a child, it will appear in your QDI account.
If it’s for a spouse, they’ll need to register their own QDI account using their QID to download their certificate.

Using the QDI app ensures you can easily access and download your Qatar police clearance certificate without the need to visit the CID office. This app is especially useful, as the certificate will remain stored there for future use.

Applying for a Police Clearance Certificate

For Qataris

In Qatar: Take a valid QID to any CEID branch.
If Abroad: Visit the nearest Qatar embassy or send a representative with a power of attorney and a valid QID.

For Expats

In Qatar (more than 6 months): Apply in person at CEID or send a representative with power of attorney.

Visit MOI Qatar website
Select “PCC Inquiry“.
Select “PCC Request Tracking.”
