Conditions to Change Passport Number on Qatar ID

Two conditions must be met to change the passport number on Qatar ID.

  • The passport holder who wants to update his/her passport details must be in the country.
  • The residence permit has to be valid.

Documents Required for Changing the Passport Number on Qatar ID

Only three documents are required to change passport details in QID:

  • Qatar ID: your QID is issued by the Qatari Government.
  • Old Passport: A copy of the old passport page, specifically the bio-data page that shows the change in passport details
  • New Passport: A copy of a newly issued passport.
