In this regard, it establishes 17 Qatar Visa Centers (QVC) across all 6 above-mentioned countries. The Qatar QVC (Qatar Visa Center) is responsible for processing biometric data and medical tests for Qatar visa applicants.

Understanding the QVC Qatar Visa Center

Qatar QVC provides support for applying for an online and in-person visa, so most of the immigration process will be done outside Qatar. The main objective of the Qatar Visa Center (QVC) is to work for the Qatar government and provide facilities including,  biometrics data recording, fingerprinting, issuing medical examination appointments, and employment contract signing before leaving for Qatar.

The main reasons to establish QVC are:

  • To reduce the workload from the Qatar governmental authorities, such as biometrics and confirmed and approved medical reports.
  • To complete the visa process more efficiently and accurately, the employee only has to sign the contract after visiting Qatar and get a work residential permit immediately.
  • Before the QVC, the employer had to pay extra expenses to send back the employee if medical reports didn’t meet the criteria.
